If you just moved to a new house, it can be quite frustrating if you suddenly have a faucet that leaks. You may not know whom to call and so you may try fixing the problem yourself. Perhaps, you can handle something that simple. But what if it's a more serious plumbing problem like a toilet that always get clogged up? If you're a resident of Charlotte, don't try and turn that into a do-it-yourself project. Instead, call Charlotte plumbers to come to the rescue.

The bathroom and the shower area are the most common places where plumbing problems occur. Some of the common situations that face homeowners are noisy toilets, continuous running water after flushing, toilet clogs, and slow drainage of water from the bathroom floor. Most of these situations are caused by defective flappers for toilets, busted pipes, or a build up of matter that clogs drains and pipes.

Have you ever been surprised when the hot water from your shower suddenly turns icy cold? Water temperature fluctuations while taking your shower can be a sign of rusty, clogged pipes or a defective valve. There can also be some sediment buildup in the water heater tank. It may not be easy to detect the problem right away, especially if you have no experience at all in do-it-yourself plumbing.

Sometimes the problem seems so simple, like a leaking faucet or a clogged drain. But what if the leak comes from a bigger pipe that's flooding your bathroom floor? If the sink is not draining properly, there can be some debris blocking the drain. But then again, it may be a sign of a bigger problem like defective water pipes from the main sewerage system.

One serious problem could be if your water heater doesn't work during winter time. For sure, you would never want to start your day with a cold shower! Think about the worst that could happen and ask yourself if you can deal with these situations. You may have a corroded water pipe in the basement that suddenly bursts and floods your basement floor. Even worse if you have these situations happening in the middle of the night. Do you know where to get help?

If you ever experience any of these situations, do not panic! Instead, find a good plumber who can help you immediately. Ask friends, family and neighbors to recommend someone who can come to the rescue especially during emergency situations.

Use the internet to find reliable plumbers in your neighborhood. Do not take even the smallest plumbing problem for granted as it could increase your water bill or turn into a bigger problem later on. You need to know whom to call and how much they usually charge.

Remember, if it is a serious plumbing concern, do not attempt to solve it by yourself. It is always smarter to hire an expert who can handle the situation faster and maybe even more economical. Work only with plumbers who are licensed and who are well recommended by others.
