There are typicaly a lot of pre university programs offered in the country in Malaysia. Students or college students require to select their degree major of choice and also country which they prefer to further their studies before opting for a suitable pre university program. Many informtion about these pre university programs are available through online searching. These programs are accredited and recognized by universities worldwide.

These pre-u courses in Malaysia remain open for Science and Arts students and time of this course is one and a half year. Minimum qualification is SPM or equivalent degrees with a minimum combination of three subjects. It is globally accepted and offered by many institutions all around the world.

Secondly, South Australian Matriculation is more commonly referred to as as SAM which is also a very good option for pre-university courses in Malaysia as it is recognized globally. Because the name suggest, the Senior Secondary Assessment Board of South Australia offers this course. These pre-university programs in Malaysia specifically designed for the non-Australian student who needs to go for higher studies in places like US, UK and Australia itself.

IB is a more elaborated and long-term pre-university programs in Malaysia of two years. However, it offers good opportunities for higher education throughout the world. These pre-u courses in Malaysia are specially designed for the students within the age group of 16-19 years.

The curriculum is targeted to both humanities and science subjects with a total of six namely science, one social science subject, one foreign language, mathematics, English and one creative subject like arts. Pre-university programs in Malaysia serve as basis for qualification.

It is vital and useful for students, as they should have command over the language to study abroad and thereby, receive recognized degrees under pre-university courses in Malaysia.

Canadian International Matriculation Programme (CIMP) is also a pre-university programs in Malaysia. The curriculum consists of total six subjects and the period of this course is of one year. Assignments and tasks carry higher percentage of marks i.e. 70% while the remaining 30% are awarded based on the end examination related to pre-university courses in Malaysia.

These courses train the scholars in special segments like engineering, computer and IT, business etc. The scholars who which to take up these one year programs must secure 5 or extra credits in SPM.
