In other words, amount carried by one train, require many trucks to move it to preferred destination. This shows that movement by railway is not only economical, but also it helps in reducing congestion along the roads.

This technique is considered to be one of the cheapest when there is need of moving bulky goods to long distances. Railway requires minimal repair work. Minimal labor is required to move huge quantities from one part to another. This mode is safe because there are few accidents associated with it. Breakdowns are few also.
