Until now, there are still separations involving the jobs of women and men. This is still prevalent in most nations even if the nation is rich and industrialized. This is because most manufacturing firms use machines to produce goods which are mostly tasks for men. Women on the other hand, are having difficulties in finding suitable jobs especially if the office decoration that they are in is not fit for them.

Most women hold office positions, as secretaries, clerks, typists or bookkeepers. Many stores also employ women to sell different products like home equipment, clothes and cars. Some factories that hire women carry on light industry, such as canning food or packaging drugs. Up until now, very few women work in iron and steel industries. The architecture and design of the office must fit the capabilities of its workers.

Teaching and health care provide most opportunities for women among the professions that require a university or college education. However, in general, women hold the less important roles in these areas. An example would be, on hospitals, women nurse are plentiful while women doctors or hospital directors are rare. Also in the educational area, there are more women teaching elementary school than in universities and there are fewer women school principals then men.

Women does not always possess the low positions in firms or nations. In fact in some cases, they are treated as leaders, initiators and executives of different firms. They hold high positions in the government and in their respective firms. Women are also known to have more patience than men and they persevere more in their job. In some instances, different businesses prefer employing women because they are more disciplined when compared to men.

The country that we are on really affects how we see things. Sometimes, the country that we are is still discriminating women, sometimes women are empowered while sometimes the nation that we are at is still battling for the equal rights for men and women. We may view this topic differently depending on our race. It really depends on how an individual looks at it.
