These numbers do not include the manufacturing plants, transportation industrial plants and other aspects of this retail giant. There are so many various occupations available that it really can boggle the mind if you think about it too much. When most people think of Wal-Mart employees, they think sales clerks and stock boys, and it is proper those types of jobs are listed but Wal-Mart uses a great many other professions then just customer service oriented staff. Although Wal-Mart has come under fire in previous years because of their pay rate, the truth is the regular store clerk makes around $10 per hour. Some individuals cry "foul" and say that that is not enough to live on and maybe they are right. Even So, let's consider for a moment the countless of jobs available for the common store clerk/cashier in America nowadays, most cashiers are paid minimal wage and do not catch any benefits at all, Wal-Mart gives above the government minimum wage standard and has benefits. Qualifications

Qualifications for work with Wal-Mart or one of its subsidiaries varies from occupation to occupation. For most, you can get on the job training. The more specialized jobs like pharmacist and Optometrists do require credentials in their respective fields but Wal-Mart is one of the few places that will hire certified personnel right out of school with no experience.
